Kenny Mills is 53 years old.  He grew up and spent most of his
life in Sarepta, LA, where he was a local football star at Sarepta High School.    He has two grown children, Whitney and Kody, and three grandchildren: Isaac, Anna Grace, and Addison.  He & Julie were
married on July 12, 2003.

In January of 2007, Kenny was injured at work when he fell 26 feet
from an oil tank and broke his neck.  He sustained a spinal cord injury
that left him completely paralyzed from his shoulders down (C-6 quadriplegic).  He & Julie currently live in their home in Grand Cane, Louisiana, where Kenny is an inspiration to everyone he meets.  His contagious smile and optimistic attitude are amazing examples of God's grace.

Prior to his accident, Kenny often said, "God didn't give me the ability
to teach, preach, or speak in front of an audience...He gave me a
strong back, strong arms, and strong legs.  So, I'll just leave the talking
to somebody else!"
However, following his injury, Kenny discovered that God had indeed given him a voice.  He has a powerful testimony, which
he has graciously shared at a number of churches, men's groups, and
teen meetings since 2007.  His story is one of hope, encouragement,
and determined faith.
